Our story starts as any romantic Millennial couple’s does… on a dating app.

Jenny was chatting with her co-worker about giving up on the dating apps, when she was told to stop overthinking it and instead, “swipe on the hot guy.” That same week, Pete’s chiseled face and baby blues popped up on Jenny’s app. His app profile said he was about to become a dog dad to a golden retriever puppy. Jenny coyly messaged Pete to let him in on a little secret.. She was a cat lady. This did not scare Pete away. Instead, he responded, letting Jenny know she could have a cat, he’d have a dog, and we’d be Homeward Bound.

We spent the following couple of months falling in love in San Francisco. Cute date nights around the city, hikes in Marin, and day trips up to Sonoma with friends. Two months into dating, a fluffy ball of yellow fur and energy entered our lives. His name was Calvin, Pete’s Golden Retriever puppy, who quickly deemed Jenny his mom. As a newly dubbed “Cal Fam” of three, we loved taking weekend trips around California; Calistoga, Stinson Beach, Mendicino, Bodega Bay, Yosemite, & many many trips to Wine Country.

In August of 2023, we moved in together. We already felt like home to each other. Calvin quickly got used to our king-sized bed and staked his claim to half of the bed every. single. night. Living in the Presidio, Calvin has become known as the “mayor” and is extremely popular in our neck of the woods! You’ll hear at least one person yell out “CALVIN” every walk we go on.

In September of 2024, Pete and Jenny went to Japan. Pete proposed in a serene tea garden tucked away in the center of Tokyo. Jenny will never forget when Pete looked at her with fear and said the most romantic sentence of her life, “Jenny, it’s happening…..” before dropping to one knee. They celebrated the rest of the trip in Kyoto and Osaka.

As we embark on our new journey together, we are so excited to be joined by our favorite people in our favorite place, to celebrate the beginning of our marriage. We'll see you in October!!!!
